5 years ago my identity was stolen. - opened an account for the person who stole my id. $200.00 was charged in telephone calls. When the bill was not paid, - contacted me. I did not know my id was stolen. I immediately filed a police report with - - Tn police dept. I filed a form with - to explain that my id was stolen and sent them a copy of the police report. 2 years later - attempted to force me to pay the debt through a debt collection company. I again submitted the police report. Now 5 years later and - is again demanding payment through their debt collection company afni. They harrassed me with phone calls and many many mailings demanding money. I am sure - wrote off the $200.00 5 years ago. Now they want me to get a new police report and send them all my info again, for something that happened 5 years ago. And this is the - time they are demanding this info. This is pure harrassment. They wait 5 years to demand money again. The afni has sent many letters demanding money. They said if I do n't fill out a new report they will continue to demand money.
