Bank of America Credit card department,
On - - I paid submitted a payment for my Bank of America Credit Card on the Bank of America 's web page to be posted to my account for - -. Their web page said they had a new system to do this, then processed my request and gave me a confirmation number of -. -/-/-, I received a notice that I did not pay my credit card and they charged me a $25.00 for a late payment fee. I contacted them and I told them I did submit a payment through their web page and gave them the confirmation number. They said they will look into it and it may take 10 business days. On - - I received a letter saying they can not find record of receiving a payment and that they can not investigate a payment through a third party vendor. They gave the incident case number -. I did not use a third party vendor. I used their own web page. I had a confirmation number their own web page gave me. Their NEW system obviously made the error and never charged my checking account for the payment. I should not be fined $25.00 for the glitches in their system.
