1. - contacted by debt collector ( National Hospital Collections- ( - - - ) -/-/- about a $75.00 payment from an FMH Urgent Care visit in -/-/-. I disputed this and told them I needed to verify and confirm, I do n't believe I owe because I paid the Urgent Care Center. 2. Called the Urgent Care facility they verified pmt was made of - ... I explained that debt collector is calling to collect $75.00. They said they had no idea what that would be for. 3. Well one week ago ( -/-/- ) my mortgage lender pulled my reports and notice new collection activity on the account ... .reporting -/-/- for the - time. I had been monitoring my reports thru My FICO and the debt has not been on there since -/-/-. The entry even has a note in there that customer disputes this account. 4. I called the Collection agency they told me it was for the same Urgent Care facility visit from -/-/-. 5. Once again called the Urgent Care facility they looked into this a little deeper and said that the $75.00 sounds like a lab charge. They send - out to a
explanation of benefits explaining this rejection or patient responsibility. The were pretty rude and kept referring me to the collection agency. 7. I called - ( - - - - - ) and they confirmed that there was never an claim submitted to them for $75.00 for lab fees. - says if they resubmit within the year of date of service, that they will honor it and pay it in full. 8. I called - Patient accounts back to give them the information - provided to me and told them to resubmit for payment. I also asked if they could notify the debt collection agency and reverse or withdrawal the negative account information. They said not until its been paid and that could be another 30 to 60 days. 9. Its there error in the first place ... it has caused my credit score to drop - points because a new and recent collection account has appeared. 10. I called the debt collection agency again and explained this whole story and spoke with a - who was very rude and said they will not withdraw it or close it out. I said your reported as a disputed account and I am still disputing and I am within right to do so. Ginger abruptly hung up the phone. 11. Puzzled why - hung up the phone I called back to the debt collection agency and spoke to - told my story again and asked if there are any notes from - as to why she terminated the call. - said she saw where my call was documented but no detailed or descriptive notes. - told me ... .to expedite the removal of debt I would just have to pay it to them and let the insurance company and FMH settle it and we ended the call. 12 Spoke to my mortgage lender regarding my financing being in jeopardy and employer regarding my security clearance and adjudication process. They also advise to pay and ask them to remove it for the sake of cleaning up the credit file. 13. Called the debt collection agency and paid using a debit bankcard and asked for removal/deletion since its not a direct fault or negligence of mine, they said No ... .it will take -- to update as paid in full and that is the best they can do. 14. I would like some intervention to have this removed from - as well as other bureaus these may appear on. 15. National Hospital Collection debt collection agency account # is : -. My payment of $75.00 was paid on -/-/- and my confirmation # is -. 16. In closing I would like National Hospital Collection ( debt collection agency ) remove this erroneous info from credit files ASAP. Thank You!
