I live in - and have so since -/-/-. I have been contacted by a debt collection agency that I owe a debt of -. I called and they said I owed -. They said I had service at a address I never lived at and it was opened in -/-/- to -/-/-. I called a filed a police report and called -. So I wrote to the agency immediately requesting to dispute and press charges. I get a letter a week later saying due to lack of information provided they been unable to complete my investigation. When I wrote them, I sent them the lady name which is - - - and also her current address and current phone number. I do n't go to - and have n't been since I left. I know - from living on the same block with my mom. I had opened a welfare case and when we moved I vlosed my case and never had my mail forwarded and I 'm thinking she got it from mail. I know - fraudulently used my information and I had no knowledge of it. I contacted - when I received the letter but of course she denied using it and said that she lived at the address but do n't know how this could of happened and stated that she know I never lived there. I aslo told her I was pressing charges. She said she will wait on them to contact her.Please help. I looked on my credit report and it was never on my report. So this has been haunting me down - years and how can I find out what else she might have used my information for? Thanks in advance for your help.
