- of weeks ago i happened to check my credit report and i realized that it had addresses that i have never lived, several activities that i was unaware of. - activity claimed i had service with - and did not pay my bill, so - passed on that debt to debt collector - - - '' amount of $1100.00 under - account number -. I filled a claim with CFPB to - - - with explanation that i had never had - services and my identity was compromised. After a few days of investigation account was recalled by - and closed on -/-/2015 agreeing that it was fraudulent account. Few days later i got a debt collection notice from Afni - '' with the same - account number and amount claiming its new collection notice, i reached out to them and did n't get any help. see attached document
