I was contacted by a - to contact - with a file number -. I contacted the number and everyone i talked to was rude. The voicemail stated that there was a case with my apartment complex. The - person I talked to was - - every time i asked a question she was rude. She stated that I was going to be served today and I looked on the county website for any court documentation and there is none. She stated that they have the right to garnish my wages and that information is being sent to my payroll department when I get served. She stated that in Ohio debtors have up to - years to collect a debt and they are requesting that all my bank accounts are closed immediately and I wont be able to open a account within the next - years. They said - has tried to contact me. They said the FDIC is looking to sue me and have no problem doing it. He said they will put a lean on my car and they see based on my credit report that I have been making the payments and I have a nice job so why not sue you. I asked about the date the compliant was filed in court and i was put on hold then a guy named - -. As soon as he got on the phone he started saying since you want to be diffcult in the state of Ohio we have the right to collect the debt up to - years you will never get away from the debt. You have a good job so we are going to sue you if I dont pay large amount by - -.
