I have had a master card account since -, services by Bank of America for at least the past - plus years. When paying my -/-/- bill, I followed the instructions on my payment slip to advise Bank of America of my new mailing address ( Their printed instructions ). On - -, I received my -/-/- bill, however it was addressed to my old address & forewarned to me by the post office. I called Bank of America customer service. After endless waiting & being disconnected, I finally spoke with a so called supervisor named -. He told me they still had my old - address on record & not my new - address. I explained that I followed the instructions on the -/-/- payment slip. He proceeded to scold me & tell me it was MY fault & that I should have called them to make the change. Several times I read to him the printed Bank of America instructions on the payment slip, and every time he interrupted me to say it was my fault & I should have called. He would not answer my question of why the Bank 's payment slip says to do it the way I did ( which by the way worked with - or - other credit cards! ). He just kept saying it was my fault and was so rude I simply said to please cancel this card! I have emailed a few people at Bank of America, but I doubt I 'll hear from them! Imagine treating a cardholder since - so rudely? If this shows up as anything other than account closed at customer 's request, there could be a negative impact on my credit! This - was so obnoxious, I would n't be surprised if he logged the closing as bank request!!
