Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Maryland

I have defaulted on a student loan from national collegiate trust which was being paid via - - - - - - refuses to provide me with the contact information for - - - and sent the defaulted loan to SIMM ASSOCIATES. SIMM ASSOCIATES continues to harass me about the defaulted loan demanding I pay the full $ 41K immediately and I have no means. I have requested, via certified mail that the debt be validated and I receive information on the original creditor of the school loan and SIMM ASSOCIATES has failed to do so but continues to call. All I am doing is trying to validate the debt as what SIMM ASSOCIATES is trying to collect on is not what I have in my own personal records. I would also like to settle and work with my original creditor on this issue. SIMM ASSOCIATES continues to use harassing practices while calling me at work, fails to send proper documentation, or says they have sent the proper documentation and I have yet to receive any information.
