U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
I received a letter from U.S. Bank stating my credit card account is delinquent. I called and inquired as to how that was possible when I have autopay '' activated. I was informed they notified me 6 months ago that the feature was being turned off and I would have to turn it back on. I never received this notice and I been presuming that my payments were being made as per my instructions. In the interim they have been charging me late charges and interest for each month. I have spoken to - representatives who essential told me tough luck. '' -, I immediately paid the entire balance once I was made awarre of this debacle. If they were turning my autopay '' off, which I deny receiving notice, why wait six months to let me know? I further believe that have reported on the trade lines that the account is delinquent, thus affecting my credit rating. I would like for the fees and interest to be refunded as well as the trade lines removed from my credit report. I might add that this smacks of class action to me because I am certain I am not the only person duped in this manner. Once this matter is resolved I intend to cancel the card.
