On Saturday -/-/2015 I immediately returned a call from a representative by the name of -. The call back was received by office manager - -. I gave him as requested an updated status of my past due account. I advised him I spoke to his representative - on Monday concerning this same issue. On Tuesday -/-/15 I received at voice message from - to contact him ... - minutes later an out of state family member receives a call from - trying to reach me. Upon my contacting the office the representative, - advises that outside references are contacted when they have had no contact with borrower. The office has been in contact with me weekly. I find this tactic harassing. There is no reason to contact anyone outside of myself concerning this debt. - advised me they would not give details of the call, but anyone who receives a call from a stranger being advised to have the member contact them know its about a debt. The attempt to embarrass me in order to collect is harassment.
