Midland Funding is trying to collect on a debit that had already reached the statue of limitations with - - Bank. Account was closed, marked as paid and then re-opened for around the same amount. With a new account number to continue collecting on a debit that they have almost tripled the original amount owed. It says that this is due to fall off my report as of - but what is stopping them from doing this all over again and extending it another - years?
