I opened my Club Carlson ( US Bank CC ) in - '14 since friends gave the service and travel perks such high regards. The most important benefit this CC offered was the Bonus Award Night '' after paying the annual fee and was of such great value to my family and I that we shifted our hotel stays to align with this company. We used this benefit multiple times with no complaints and felt we always received good customer service at all the locations. When I signed up for this card and paid the annual fee I was certain I would be receiving all of the benefits of the personal card for the entire year. But I recently found out they were doing away with the Bonus Award Night '' as of - and am strongly reconsidering my hotel loyalty due to the abrupt nature of this change and the radical change within the entire awards system. I had been planning future trips around the hotels within the award system but am not so sure if I want to spend the funds knowing another drastic change may be around the corner.
