My Name is - - and I have graduated from - University - - Nj in 2013 with nothing more than the daunting and draining stress of my student loans. I started paying back interest while in school, which was about $520.00 on a quarterly basis ( mostly from the help of my mother ) and tried to consolidate my loans soon after graduation, but NJ Class was neither informative or helpful. I paid back as much as I could on time until things became unbearable and it spiraled out of control. Two years later, I 'm still struggling with repayment and the customer service with NJ Class has gotten worse. When I call to speak with someone about repayment and my financial situation I am spoken down to, rushed off the phone or even hung up on. I was even told if you ca n't pay back the $1500.00 a month there 's no point in paying $500.00 a month because we will still garnish your mother 's wages ''. That is neither helpful, professional nor ideal feedback from a business. I understand that workers of student loan companies deal with
myself but my mother has to also deal with the numerous phone calls, emails and letters from NJ Class. It has gotten to the point where they ring her at work ( which is by far, very disrespectful ). My mother did a great thing by co-signing my loans, in order to help further my education but the stress of repayment is physically making her ill. Six years ago, who would have thought that I would regret going to college since it 's taking such a toll on my mother? After long consideration and the upmost support from my mother, I have decided to accept placement in -/-/- for my - 's degree in -. I am weary that NJ class may not put my loans into forbearance or even worse I may not be able to take out a loan for the year. I never thought that I would go back to school, but I found exactly what it is that I want to do with my life. Going back for my - at University - -, - is all I could ever want. It would be a tragedy if I could n't attend. In all honestly, I just wish that someone from - would help me. It would help lessen the stress for my mother and I. Maybe if they explained things a bit more and were n't so rude, it could be easier.
