I was told I could settle for $360.00, or had the option of paying $400.00 and they would remove the collection from my credit report like it had never happened. The collection was reported as settled for less than full amount and when I called to get it corrected I was told they had no record of the extra $40.00. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on.
