In - of -, my wife and I purchased our - home. During that process, we solicited quotes for homeowners insurance from many companies, including - -. In the end, - - was not selected and we never signed any documents with them. Fast forward to - of - and I receive a notice of a debt owed to - -. I sent the debt collector a letter dated - -, - stating the above. Despite giving them my phone number an email address in this letter, I never heard back from them and I though we were finished. Yesterday, - -, -, I received a notice of the same debt! After being notified in - of - that there was no debt and in fact no contract with the company, the collected has once again contacted me to pay, in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
