Credit card Communication tactics Frequent or repeated calls Massachusetts
I owed this debt which I have paid after they offered a settlement. After the amounts was paid and check cleared I have still been receiving phone calls. I called them twice and spoke to - different people which - have said the account was taken care of and a letter will be sent out to confirm the debt has been settled. I have not received that letter yet, credit reported not yet updated, and the calls still keep coming in. The - people I 've spoken to said the calls should stop, but they have not and they do not know why.
