I regularly use PayPal services to pay for - purchases. When you are checking out with PayPal to purchase the - item, you are given choices of how to pay, such as credit card or from your bank account. For credit card, you have the choice of a credit card you previously had or, PayPal offers its own. PayPal makes its own card the default payment mechanism, which I resent and am well aware of. I never asked for a PayPal credit card. I have never wanted a PayPal credit card. I have never received a PayPal credit card. I have never activated a PayLap credit card. I have never used a PayPal credit card. In short, I have never wanted anything to do with PayPal credit cards. Yet, a few months ago I received a purported credit card bill from PayPal with alleged charges. I immediately called PayPal and informed them of the above and that the charges were fraudulent. I have continued to receive PayPal credit card bills, through Synchrony Bank, -. - -, - Florida -. These bills have been adding steep interest and other fees on top of the original fraudulent charges. When I received the last bill, I called Synchrony bank and informed them the charges were fraudulent and the interest charges unjustified. I informed them I would not pay either. Yet, I continue to receive new bills. I am sure at some point they will turn the bill over to a bill collector and try to ruin my credit. Please begin an investigation into this matter and order PayPal and Synchrony bank to expunge all charges, delete forever a credit card I never asked for, and order them to agree not to pass on any information about this to either a bill collector or a credit rating agency.
