As part of my move from - to - in -/-/- had paid of - for - services in full. However, - ended updating their records incorrectly and handed off my 'closed account ' to a Debt collection agency called 'Debt Recovery Solutions - DRS '. DRS was contacting me for the payment, during this process my discussion and explanation of the closed and fully paid account was not accepted. I was time and again warned about the 'negative consumer credit reporting ' consequences of this collection and was pressurized to pay of $280.00. Despite not owing to pay anything to - or DRS on a low moment I paid off the $280.00 when DRS promised to delete the 'negative consumer credit reporting ' as an error on their side by - of their collection agent by name - - on -/-/-. However, DRS did not keep up its promise and continues to report this debt as a 'collection ' on my account. Fully paid though. This issue negatively impacts my credit rating at the -, - & - and request your intervention with DRS to get this deleted as 'No Fault ' of mine.
