Contacted me at my work place on -/-/2015 at - and I told them that I could n't speak due to me being at work and that I would contact them when I was - to speak on the phone. I get a phone call from my brother at - am telling me that he just got off the phone with the debt collelctor and that they disclosed who they where, what compant they work for, and that they where looking for me to try and collect on a debt that is owed and by what company the debt was for. They asked if he knew of away to contact me and that if he could pass a message along to me as well. I called them back at - am asking why they disclosed confidental information to my brother and why did they contact me at my place of work. They told me that since they are collecting a debt that they can contact whoever they need to. I asked them to please not contact me at my place of work anymore becasue my manager has a problem with it and I got written up at my job because of there call. She told me that it was n't her problem and would n't explain to me where in the FDCPA that it says thats acceptable. She got very rude and nasty started to shout at me before hanging up in my face. Before she hung up on me she told me that collection methods would pressme the way that they have been doiong them and that if I did n't call them back by - eastern time today that they where going to send my file to my local state office for writing a bad check.
