The number was - and the messages were left by - -. I called back, no mini miranda, no verification of who I was ... she alleged that I owe money to a company for a magazine subscription which is 100 % not true. She threatened that I am being taken to court and read me the last - of my social security number. As a former collector, I know that if this is not a scam, which it totally is, this agency has violated the FDCPA.
