Credit Collection Services claims I owe - for an auto policy with - -. This policy was canceled prior to their cancel date of - -, a final payment was made before and should have brought the balance current and paid in full. They claim I owe -, which is a ridiculous amount of money for a policy which I had already been paying on. I think the Liberty Mutual rep ( s ) I spoke with failed to cancel the policy when I first requested, however, the amount in question is still absolutely crazy and I refuse to pay it. The reason for canceling the policy is because the vehicle had been sold to - - -, I no longer needed insurance on it.
