June 13, 2016 - AME- gave my personal information to - during the - credit card change over fiasco AGAINST MY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS. I called AME- as soon as I found out what was transpiring and was told the only way to stop the information from flowing to - was to cancel my AME- account, which I did immediately ( -/-/- ). January 11, 2016 - A charge posted on my account in the last billing period that I did n't authorize. The charge came from a merchant whose services are pushed on me through mail marketing by the credit card company. I called the merchant and did get the charge reimbursed. I also called the credit card company and voiced my concern regarding a charge that was unauthorized and came from a merchant that is frequently marketed on me by them ( being the credit card company ). November 8, 2015 - A company calling themselves " American Express '' and also " American Express - '' have been repeatedly running my credit report several times a year for years. I have not done any time of business with American Express in well over 12 years and did not authorize any of these inquiries. I also have a LIFETIME ban on promotional inquiries into my credit. November 7, 2015 - American Express, listing itself with - different addresses, has repeatedly run my credit report illegally. These inquiries are 'soft ' inquiries, however, it is illegal! I have not been a cardholder or done business with American Express in over 12 years. I also have a LIFETIME ban with all credit reporting agencies for promotional inquiries.
