Bank of America Other financial service unexpected/other fees April 8, 2015 - Dear CFPB, I contacted Bank of America to close out my health savings account on - -, 2015. Bank of America advised me that the account would be closed and I would receive a refund check for the funds that were in the account. I received a check from BOA in the amount of $570.00. On - -, 2015 I deposited the check BOA owed me to my - bank account. On - -, 2015 to my horrific surprise BOA reversed the check causing my bank account to be overdrafed and causing financial harm.
