Citibank Credit card department,
Sears/CBNA is reported an adversed information on my account, saying it was 30 days delinquent - - - - when it should not have been. Sears sent out a statement to me some time in - -, but the mail was undelivered. I never received my statement and when I finally received a call from Sears, I made a payment right away. I have never been late and Sears have records of the mail being undelivered. I called twice to Sears to dispute this, but they say I have to dispute it with the Credit Bureaus, which I have. The Credit Bureaus did an investigation and it is still showing as an adverse account ( my ONLY - with a negative mark! ). I am very distressed at the damage this is effecting my good credit standing. Because of this - mistake on my credit report, I have been wrongfully denied credit recently for a refinance on my home, which was highly embarrassing.
