Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Pennsylvania

I borrowed a loan from NJclass for $40000.00 to pay tuition at - University in NJ. I have made effort to pay them each month, but can not pay the full $ - monthly. They have told me numerous times that there are no options for repayment. I have been giving them $ - monthly. I have contacted congressmen in NJ who could not get the minimum down. They will not consider my income. My credit is now destroyed. I have other loans which are working with me without issue. It seems that hesaa is one of the few that offer - options. I am now $700.00 behind. Everyday is a struggle. I work hard and pay for everything else in my life that is required of me ... But because I ca n't pay the $400.00, my credit is bad and discounts my hard work. Someone sees my credit and feels I am irresponsible. I know it was my choice to borrow money, but hesaa 's inflexibility is making it impossible to find resolution. Private loans should be allowed inn chapter -. I am now facing defaulting. I read that hesaa charges 30 % of the balance when you default for legal fees ... And they do NOT offer loan rehabilitation ... how is this legal? I should have the freedom of at least - option. I have no rights here. Where are my rights? I have paid them something every month. I do n't know what to do. NJ Class ( hesaa ) masquerades itself as a federal loan to - year olds who do n't know the system. The governor is listed as being involved on their website .... For what purpose? This needs to change. I need help or my life could be ruined.
